All guests invited to the wedding are invited to the Welcome Party on Friday, October 2, 2026.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN TO THE WEDDING?

If you decide to bring your children to Lexington for the weekend, we would be delighted to welcome them to the Welcome Party, Ceremony, and Cocktail Hour.

For the reception, we have chosen to keep the celebration primarily an adults-only event. We kindly ask that parents make off-site childcare arrangements for the reception portion of the evening (7:00 pm to 11:00 pm).

A small number of children over the age of 12 will be attending the reception due to their roles in the wedding or specific family circumstances. If your child falls into one of these categories, we will have contacted you directly.

HOW DO I GET TICKETS FOR KEENELAND ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2026?

Friday, October 2, 2026 is Opening Day for the Keeneland Fall Meet and we expect a near capacity crowd at the track. If you will be in Lexington that Friday morning, and are interested in attending, please email one of the grooms by August 10th.

Individuals may ultimately have better luck securing tickets on their own - so we recommend setting a reminder for August 18th at 9am Eastern Time, when General Admission tickets go on sale.

General Admission tickets are $15 and include access to the grounds, Paddock, and Grandstand levels 1–3. This walk-around pass allows for close-up viewing at the rail, as well as access to betting windows, bars, and concessions (note: it does not include reserved grandstand seating).

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO THE WEDDING RECEPTION?

To make getting to and from the venue as easy as possible, complimentary shuttle service will be available for guests staying at the Hilton Lexington/Downtown and 21c Museum Hotel Lexington.

To the Venue

Shuttles will depart from both hotels at the following times:

3:15 PM (arrives at the venue around 3:45 PM)
4:15 PM (arrives at the venue around 4:45 PM)

Return Shuttles

At the end of the evening, return shuttles to both hotels will depart from the venue at:

9:15 PM
10:15 PM
11:15 PM (last shuttle)

Each trip takes approximately 30 minutes.

Please note: The 11:15 PM departure is the final shuttle of the evening. If you plan to stay later or miss the last shuttle, you'll need to arrange alternate transportation.

WHERE DO I PARK AT THE WEDDING VENUE?

There will be ample parking available at the wedding venue (532 James Lane Versailles, KY). Please feel free to drive and leave your cars overnight with pickup before 12 pm (noon) Sunday. Ubers from the venue may take a while to call, therefore we ask you please call your ride 30-45 min prior to leaving.

DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

If your visit will be centered around our wedding events, you likely won't need a rental car. Uber and Lyft are readily available from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF), and Lexington Bluegrass Airport (LEX).

If you're staying at Hilton Lexington Downtown or 21c Museum Hotel Lexington, the Welcome Party is within walking distance (or a very short Uber/Lyft ride).

On the wedding day, complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from the wedding venue from both hotels.

If you'd like to venture beyond Lexington to visit Kentucky's bourbon distilleries, horse farms, or other attractions before or after the wedding weekend, renting a car will give you the most flexibility.
